First of all, Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Architecture, under School of Architecture, Building and Design (SABD) by Taylor's University Lakeside Campus, is a three-year pre-professional course that provides a recognised qualification in Architecture, and offers a pathway for further studies to become an Architect.
The programme structure is designed to allow students design and technical skills for a career in architecture industry, combines the disciplines of art and science. It focuses on the relationship between the poetics of space, application of structure and technology, as well as the role of architecture in social, cultural and environment sustainability. Graduates also gain a solid understanding of building design, history of architecture, construction technology and architectural practice, to contribute towards the development of our society and nation as whole.
