For this first project, there were six in a group and my group members were Vicky Lee, Ricky Wong, Tan Jessie, Teo Kian Boon, Teoh Hui Yu and me. We were assigned to produce a set of hand sketches through our observation by using different techniques of sketching: line and hatches, object in nature context, series of 5 minutes sketches, human activities, building and façade perspective and structural and joint. In order to conduct this project, we had visited the sites set by the lecturers which were Sultan Abdul Samad Building, Kuala Lumpur Butterfly Park, KL Sentral and LRT station. Through this assignment, I have learnt to observe the details and spaces of buildings and objects then expressed them by sketching them out in different ways of sketching techniques.
