For this project, there were 8 in a group and my group members were Vicky Lee, Lee Qian Ying, Felicia Tiong, Sean Wee, Esther Lim, Teoh Hui Yu, and Ricky Wong. We were assigned to conduct research on a movie, The Young Victoria and showcase the understanding towards the movie. For this project, we need to understand the elements of the movie such as the era, architecture, style, culture, and social strata.

    After the research on the movie, we had to showcase our result by present it through the project runway and act the scene of movie with self-made costume according to our character.Also, we had to do a journal individually about our understanding to our character. My character of the movie was Duchess of Kent, Victoria's mother.

  In this project, I have learnt on the skills to sew a costume and DIY some accessories for the character. Besides, I had more understand the culture and hierachy of the royal family of Britain in the movie of The Young Victoria. The most important is I had learnt the teamwork and communicate with my group members. Even the process in making the costume was hard, I was enjoy the project ad its really fun. Last but not least, I would like to thank my mother for teaching me the skills of making and sewing dress.
