For this final research assignment which were 5 in a group, there were two parts to complete. First, we had to conducted through a combination of both primary sources such as interviews, data obtained through questionaires and etc. on the chosen industry. Before this, we had to identify the exact trade for our reseach. Also, we had to use secondary sources such as books, magazines, journals and internet sources. Second, we were required to present the content of our report to a hypothetica audience. For this, we had to use strategies learnt in class and evalute them with our presentation skills which learnt from last semester. Through this assignment, we would able to demonstrate conduct a well researched report with correct format and referencing skills as well as to correctly identify their roles when speaking and deliver the information effectively to the target audience.
My group members were Lim Chong Min, Sharon Chow Ci Yung, Tony Tang Lee Lung, and Wong Yeong Cherng. Our group had decided to compare the traditional coffee shops in Klang Valley and Sabah.

In this assignment, we had learnt to be teamwork for the research and interview the owner of traditional coffee shops which also known as Kopitiam by separated the location accordingly in Klang Valley and Sabah since there was a group member had transport while another group member was planned to back her hometown in Sabah. During the research, we had the group discussion and stay contacted via Facebook and Whatsapp with each other to solve the problem faced. For my part, I was assigned to interview a Kopitiam located near my hostel in PJS 7. I was nervous since this was the first time I interviewed a shop by my own and I brained was thinking the next steps I should take as I reached the shop. Luckily, the owner was very friendly and allowed me to interview him.
From this assignment, I learnt to prepare and understand each of the interview questions and tried to translate the questions clearly since the owner is a Chinese. Also, I learnt on arranged the information accurately to prepare the report and present the information clearly during the presentation.
